What is football? Who is it for?
Big questions to be asking on a nondescript day in July, perhaps. But questions that are being subtly answered all the time whether we recognise it or not.
On Monday, we were given a clearer indication of what football is in the present day. That day, Manchester City saw their UEFA Champions League ban overturned by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, raising questions about the usefulness of Financial Fair Play.

In this episode, we ask: why was Manchester City’s UEFA ban overturned? And what does it mean for football?
